2 men seriously injured in Albany Park knife fight

A violent altercation in Albany Park on Friday night resulted in two men being hospitalized with serious injuries after a knife fight, according to Chicago police.
The incident took place in the 3700 block of West Leland, where officers responded to 911 calls reporting the injured men, aged 46 and 40, around 8:54 p.m.
According to CPD, the argument between the men escalated into a physical fight before both individuals brandished knives and began attacking each other.
Upon arrival, police found the older man walking on the sidewalk with multiple lacerations on his body. He was in fair condition and transported to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center. The second man, located nearby with similar injuries, was in critical condition and also taken to Masonic for treatment.
