SZA Drops Much-Anticipated “Shirt” Single
Will 2022 be the year that SZA releases her next album?
The highly-anticipated (that term is a severe understatement) follow-up to her critical darling CTRL, the TDE musician had previously said that the album was on the way (re: the “SZA summer”). Hopefully, with her latest single “Shirt,” that proclamation will be fulfilled. The Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins-directed track, which was first teased in 2020, comes with a Deve Meyers-directed visual that co-stars her “I Hate U” guest, Lakeith Stanfield of Atlanta fame. Naturally, fans/conspiracy theorists are assuming that SZA will release her project sometime in December, judging from the shot of the license plate… we’ll see, though.
