KeKe Palmar and boyfriend welcome baby boy
Keke Palmer deserves congratulations.
Boyfriend Darius Jackson and the actress have welcomed their first child, a son named Leodis Andrellton Jackson.
The Nope star shared the news Monday night on her Instagram, and in her post included the first photos and videos of her newborn as well as of her and Jackson looking happy together as new parents.
Praising her boyfriend for his love, she noted that baby Leo was born during Black History Month.
In a photo, Jackson is seen sweetly leaning over Palmer and their child, holding her head and smiling.
Baby Leo looks cozy wrapped in blankets, napping on a bed while wearing a grey onesie and a white beanie in the last slide.
At her Saturday Night Live hosting debut in December, Palmer announced her pregnancy. Jokingly addressing the rumors about her pregnancy during her monologue, she ended the speech by unbuttoning her coat and revealing her growing baby bump.
“There’s some rumors going around, people have been in my comments saying, ‘Keke’s having a baby, Keke’s pregnant,’ and I wanna set the record straight — I am!” she said.
Jackson and Palmer began seeing each other in early summer 2021 and made it official on Instagram in August. The confirmation of Palmer’s pregnancy has now set the couple on a more serious course. During her opening monologue on SNL, Palmer declared, “Honestly, this has been the biggest blessing, and I am so excited, guys—I’m gonna be a mom!” ’”
Despite some people feeling uncomfortable with me having a baby due to my past as a child actor, I want to make it clear that I am an adult now – I’m 29, I’m mature, I engage in sexual activity, and I own my own home. “You know, the things adults do?'”
