Missouri Pastor seen on video praying over and for would be robbers during church service
Several weeks ago, a Missouri pastor who had formerly been a police officer prevented a suspected robbery attempt at his church during a live stream of his service. By using prayer and a diplomatic approach, the preacher was able to prevent anyone from being injured or robbed.
5 On Your Side reported that Pastor Marquaello Futrell of the All Creation Northview Holiness Family Church, located in Ferguson, Mo., Several would-be thieves had their plans hindered at his parish on Feb. 12. Carrying two bags, one man questioned his Children Services Director during his service at the church.
Futrell, a former police officer, told the media outlet, “I immediately just had the hairs on the back of my neck I’m like, ‘OK, something’s about to happen.” When four men then entered the church, his instincts went off and he proceeded with caution.
“Me being a former police officer, I immediately noticed their waistbands, I’m like, ‘There’s something there,’” he said.
The pastor said that someone at the church had noticed one of the men dropping his gun. He continued with the service without panicking or drawing attention to what had just happened.

He stated that he had immediately directed his media team to zoom in on them, knowing that they needed some face recognition. He decided to speak directly to the men who invaded the church’s space at this point. Did you see the church and decide to come? Speak with me.
On the live stream video, he was heard saying, “I’ve still got a cop anointing and I still know what’s going on and what’s about to happen. God is about to change the enemy. Shout unto God with a loud voice!
He and others in his congregation approached the men and placed their hands over them as they prayed at this time. Once they had done so, the men left the church.
Futrell said that he believed they had felt the power of God lift in their hands, before they departed.
The Ferguson Police Department has confirmed that, after viewing the video of the service, the four men left the church in a black Dodge Charger, and they are still searching for them.
