Three Series Regulars Added to “Prison Break” Reboot Pilot at Hulu
The highly anticipated “Prison Break” reboot pilot at Hulu has recently announced the addition of three talented actors as series regulars, as reported by Variety. Emily Browning, Lukas Gage, and Drake Rodger have all been cast in leading roles for the pilot, which was first revealed in December. While the exact plot details are being kept under wraps, the pilot is set in the same world as the original “Prison Break” but will feature a new story with fresh characters.
Emily Browning will portray Cassidy Collins, an ex-soldier who transitions into a corrections officer role at one of the most dangerous prisons in America. Lukas Gage will take on the character of Jackson, a politician from a privileged background embarking on his first congressional campaign. Drake Rodger is set to play Tommy, an inmate at the same treacherous prison who has been incarcerated for a decade.
Emily Browning has built an impressive resume with notable roles in shows like “Class of ’07,” “The Affair,” and “American Gods.” She has also showcased her talent in films such as “Legend,” “Sleeping Beauty,” and “Sucker Punch.” Lukas Gage has gained recognition for his work in HBO’s “The White Lotus” and “Euphoria,” as well as in films like “Companion” and “How to Blow Up a Pipeline.” Drake Rodger, known for his appearances in “The Winchesters” and “Landman,” has also made an impact in the film industry with projects like “Murder RX” and “Not Alone.”
The reboot pilot is being written and executive produced by Elgin James, with executive producers including Dawn Olmstead, Paul Scheuring, Marty Adelstein, and Neal Moritz. The studio behind the project is 20th Television, the same studio that produced the original “Prison Break” series.
