“Tokyo with dad” – Freddie Freeman’s wife Chelsea on son Charlie living the dream with trip to MLB 2025 opener

LA Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman recently arrived in Tokyo for the upcoming Tokyo Series against the Chicago Cubs, and he brought his eldest son Charlie along for the trip. The father-son duo made quite the impression with their stylish outfits as they landed at the Tokyo International Airport on Wednesday.

Freeman shared a couple of photos from their journey to Tokyo. In one photo, they can be seen walking on the airport runway after disembarking from their charter. In another photo, they are captured having a good time inside the charter.

Both Freddie and Charlie sported cool and comfortable travel attire. Freddie opted for a sleek and casual look, wearing a gray Nike tracksuit with a zip-up hoodie and matching joggers, paired with white sneakers and a black backpack. Meanwhile, Charlie mirrored his dad’s style, donning a gray hoodie and sweatpants, a colorful cap, a chain necklace, and black-and-white sneakers.

Freeman’s wife, Chelsea, reshared the photos on her social media, expressing how Charlie is living the dream by accompanying his dad to Tokyo. It seems that Chelsea and their other two sons, Brandon John and Max, did not join them on this trip to Japan.

Just a couple of days ago, Chelsea and her three boys were at the Dodgers’ spring training facility in Glendale, Arizona, to watch Freeman play against the Cleveland Guardians. Although the Dodgers emerged victorious with a 10-4 win, Freeman himself did not have a successful game at the plate.

Off the field, Chelsea shared glimpses from their game day, including photos of her twinning with her three sons and their enjoyment of hotdogs while watching the spring training game. She captioned one of the photos with, “Baseball = AKA a day of hot dogs and cheering on Dad. 🌭⚾️❤️”

While Chelsea will likely be cheering for Freeman from America during the Tokyo Series against the Cubs at the Tokyo Dome, it’s heartwarming to see the Freeman family supporting each other both on and off the field.

Overall, Freddie Freeman and his son Charlie’s stylish arrival in Tokyo and the family’s support during spring training showcase the strong bond and unity within the Freeman family. With Chelsea cheering them on from afar, the Dodgers have a solid support system behind them as they take on their opponents in the upcoming games.
