Jasmine Crockett Offers Ominous Take On Future Elections

During an interview on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) raised concerns about the future of American democracy under President Donald Trump’s potential second term. She questioned the possibility of elections taking place in the United States in the years to come.

When asked about the possibility of supporting a primary challenge by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) against Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), Crockett refrained from giving a direct answer. She mentioned that any potential challenge by Ocasio-Cortez would occur “four years from now,” as Schumer’s term extends until January 2029.

Crockett emphasized the importance of observing Schumer’s leadership at this critical moment, indicating that decisions about future challenges would depend on how events unfold in the next few years.

“We are facing a pivotal moment in our nation’s history, and it’s crucial to closely monitor the actions of our leaders,” Crockett stated during the interview with Jake Tapper.
