President Trump has decided to revoke Secret Service protection for Joe Biden‘s adult children, Hunter and Ashley, despite extending the same privilege to his own children after his first term.
Before leaving office in January, Biden had assigned Secret Service security details to Hunter and Ashley, providing them protection until July.
Trump announced on social media that he is pulling the plug on Hunter Biden’s Secret Service protection, citing the cost to taxpayers and the number of personnel involved in the detail.
Trump has instructed that effective immediately, Hunter Biden will no longer receive Secret Service protection, even while on vacation in South Africa.
Furthermore, Trump has mentioned that Ashley Biden currently has 13 Secret Service agents assigned to her, but he is also ending this benefit.
It is worth noting that when Trump left office in 2021, he granted his children six months of Secret Service protection, a decision that Biden did not object to at the time.
