But in the world of television, exciting new projects are also on the horizon. Hulu has announced that they are developing a new original crime drama series called “Durango” from writer Eliza Clark, with Media Res set to produce.

The series follows the story of two Gen Z individuals, Bunny and Mikey, who find themselves in a dangerous situation after impulsively taking a pile of money from Mikey’s ex-wife and her Russian gangster lover. Described as a modern-day Bonnie and Clyde for the TikTok generation, “Durango” explores themes of love, crime, domesticity, conspiracy, and passion through the eyes of two young rebels who refuse to settle for the hand life has dealt them.

Eliza Clark, known for her work on shows like “Y: The Last Man” and “Animal Kingdom,” is set to write the series, with Michael Ellenberg and Lindsey Springer serving as executive producers for Media Res. This project adds to Media Res’ impressive slate, which includes collaborations with Apple TV+ on series like “The Morning Show” and “Pachinko,” as well as upcoming shows like “The Miniature Wife” and “Thumblite.”

As Hulu continues to expand its original programming lineup, “Durango” promises to be a thrilling addition to the streaming platform’s offerings. With a talented team behind the scenes and an intriguing premise, this crime drama is sure to captivate audiences and keep them on the edge of their seats.
