Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7: Release Date, Price & Specs Rumours

The Galaxy Z Fold series has set the bar high for foldable technology, and the anticipation for the next entry in the series – the Galaxy Z Fold 7 – is already building. Leaks and rumors suggest that Samsung is working on significant improvements for the upcoming device, making it slimmer and larger than its predecessor, the Z Fold 6.

As per Samsung’s release cycle, we can expect the Galaxy Z Fold 7 to be unveiled at the company’s Unpacked event in July or August 2025, following the launch of the Z Fold 6 in 2024. Pricing rumors indicate that the Z Fold 7 may maintain a similar price point to its predecessor, with no significant price reductions expected.

One of the most exciting rumors surrounding the Z Fold 7 is the possibility of Samsung releasing two versions of the device next year. Codenames for the upcoming foldables have been revealed, hinting at a potential Galaxy Z Fold 7 model and an unidentified foldable model, possibly a budget-friendly version of the Fold series.

Reports suggest that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will feature a slimmer and lighter design compared to previous models, with a thinner profile similar to the Galaxy S24 Ultra. The device is rumored to have a larger interior display, expanding to 8 inches, and may also include improvements in display technology, battery life, and performance.

In terms of performance, the Z Fold 7 is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 “Elite for Galaxy” chipset, offering 12GB of RAM and various internal storage options. Camera upgrades are also anticipated, with a potential 200Mp main camera and improvements in low-light performance and zoom capabilities.

The device is likely to run on Android 15 with Samsung’s One UI 7 experience, featuring a redesigned user interface tailored for foldable devices. Overall, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 promises to be a versatile and high-performance foldable device that will set a new standard in the market.
