FBI Responds To Zuckerberg’s Claims Facebook Limited Hunter Biden Story, Says It’s ‘Routine’ Practice

The FBI issued a statement following Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s admission that Facebook limited exposure of Hunter Biden laptop news prior to the 2020 presidential election after receiving a warning from the bureau to be on the lookout for Russian propaganda.

In their response, the agency casually admitted it “routinely notifies” companies and social media platforms about potential threats.

“The FBI routinely notifies U.S. private sector entities, including social media providers, of potential threat information, so that they can decide how to better defend against threats,” they said.

They added that the bureau “has provided companies with foreign threat indicators to help them protect their platforms and customers from abuse by foreign malign influence actors.”

FBI Admits They Warn Companies Like Facebook About Alleged Threats and Misinformation

The statement continues by alleging the FBI “cannot ask, or direct, companies to take action on information received,” but Zuckerberg had pointed out in the Hunter Biden scenario that a visit from a “legitimate institution” prompted him to “take that seriously.”

The Meta CEO admitted during a podcast with host Joe Rogan last week that Facebook had algorithmically throttled the reach on any posts involving the Hunter laptop scandal after a visit from the FBI.

“The FBI, I think, basically came to us – some folks on our team – and was like, ‘Hey, just so you know, like, you should be on high alert… We thought that there was a lot of Russian propaganda in the 2016 election,” Zuckerberg told Rogan.

“‘We have it on notice that, basically, there’s about to be some kind of dump of that’s similar to that. So just be vigilant,’” he continued.

Zuckerberg said they were not specifically instructed by the FBI to focus on the Hunter Biden story but they apparently did so anyway because “it basically fit the pattern.”

The FBI planted the seed that any bombshell revelations regarding the presidential candidates – and I think we know which one they meant with their focus on ‘Russian propaganda’ – would be spreading misinformation and Facebook tucked its tail between their legs and complied.

‘Joe Biden Would Not Be President’ If Not For the FBI Meddling in the Election

There is an incredibly simple solution to prove that the FBI is utterly partisan and full of crap when it comes to claims they ‘routinely notify’ social media companies about Russian disinformation and threats to elections.

Rogan should follow up by asking Zuckerberg if they warned Facebook about the threat posed by misinformation gleaned from the Steele dossier or any other aspect of the disproven collusion narrative between Russia and Donald Trump’s campaign.

We know they didn’t, because they actually helped spread that false information, even going so far as to use it to attain FISA warrants to conduct surveillance on the Trump campaign.

Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) blasted the FBI for their interaction with Facebook and said if not for their interference, Joe Biden wouldn’t be president.

“We’ve seen polls that show that had the American public known the corruption of the Biden family and Hunter Biden, Joe Biden would not be president,” Johnson told Fox News.

“All these disasters and results from the Biden administration and the Democratic government wouldn’t have happened but for the FBI’s politicization, their partisanship, and their suppression of the Hunter Biden laptop,” he added.

Johnson pointed out that the FBI had the laptop in December of 2019 “and did nothing with it.”

Senator Chuck Grassley recently claimed high-ranking whistleblowers have accused the FBI, along with the Department of Justice (DOJ), of suppressing negative information about Hunter Biden prior to the 2020 election.

Grassley (R-IA), in a letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray and Attorney General Merrick Garland dated July 25th, claimed the FBI had information in 2020 on alleged “criminal financial and related activity” engaged in by Hunter, but rather than investigate, they set up a team to discredit it as ‘disinformation,’ a move that “caused investigative activity to cease.”

And then of course, over 50 intelligence officials published a letter warning the public that the since verified laptop had “all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.”

The story was squashed by Facebook and completely censored by Twitter. And of course, it wasn’t making nightly appearances on any news broadcast.

The Political Insider reported shortly after the election on a study that showed a very significant 17% of Biden voters would have abandoned the candidate if their knowledge of the issues had been different.

Among the stories ignored by the media, now knowing some may have been at the suggestion of the FBI, were Tara Reade’s sexual assault allegations against President Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris’ radical left-wing platforms, and of course, the Hunter Biden scandal.

That study produced numbers showing that one in every six voters would have ditched their vote for Biden if they had heard about or had knowledge of just one of the negative stories.
