Adolescence Hits Another Netflix Ratings Record: No. 4 Biggest Show

The popular U.K. limited series “Adolescence” continues to gain momentum, recently securing its spot as the ninth most-watched English-language series on Netflix of all time. In just 24 days, the show has amassed a staggering 114 million views, catapulting it to the fourth position on the list. Surpassing fan-favorites like “Bridgerton” Season 2 and “Stranger Things” Season 3, “Adolescence” shows no signs of slowing down.

Currently, the series trails behind “Wednesday” Season 1 with 252.1 million views, “Stranger Things” Season 4 with 140.7 million views, and “Dahmer: Monster” with 115.6 million views. With more than two months left for viewing, “Adolescence” is poised to overtake these titles and claim the top spots on the list.

A significant portion of the show’s viewership, 17.8 million views, was recorded in the May 31-April 6 viewing window, solidifying its position as the top TV title of the week in its fourth week on Netflix. Additionally, new entries like “Gone Girls: The Long Island Serial Killer,” “Pulse,” and “Devil May Cry” made impressive debuts, garnering millions of views in their first week.

Other notable mentions on the Netflix Top 10 charts include “The Residence,” “Love on the Spectrum,” and “Million Dollar Secret,” each attracting millions of views in their respective weeks. The weekly special “Raw 2025” also made an appearance, as well as the debut of “Jurassic World: Chaos Theory” and the eighth week of “Ms. Rachel.”
