Bodyguard for Meghan Thee Stallion does not appear to testify in bizarre trial
Megan Thee Stallion’s attorney claims her bodyguard, who was subpoenaed to testify in the Tory Lanez trial, is missing, though the Los Angeles Police Department has yet to receive a missing person’s report.
It was expected that Megan’s security person would provide key testimony to allegedly prove that Lanez, whose real name is Daystar Peterson, 30, shot and injured Megan Ruth Pete in the summer of 2020 in Los Angeles.
Alerts regarding Justin Edison, Megan Thee Stallion’s bodyguard, were sent out by Alex Spiro, the attorney.
Spiro said in a statement obtained by Complex magazine that they had recently learned that Justin Edison was missing right before he was scheduled to appear in court. The LAPD is investigating his disappearance and would appreciate any information about his whereabouts.
“TMZ” reports that, however, the LAPD has yet to make a report on Edison’s sudden disappearance official.
Edison is the person who Megan’s former BFF Kelsey Harris allegedly texted following the shooting, stating that “Tory shot Meg.”
The latest development in a bizarre trial is the allegedly missing bodyguard. This trial also includes the fact that Harris received immunity for her testimony. Yet Harris, who was in the car with Megan and Lanez, did not say that Lanez shot her.
