Cassie Alleges Rape, Sex Trafficking, and Domestic Violence in Lawsuit Against Diddy

In a shocking legal development, singer Cassie, known as Casandra Ventura, has filed a lawsuit against her former boyfriend, music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, accusing him of rape, sex trafficking, and a decade-long pattern of abusive behavior. The complaint, filed in New York on Thursday, details a harrowing cycle of abuse, violence, and sex trafficking that Cassie claims she endured during her relationship with Combs.

The allegations include a 2018 incident where Cassie alleges she was raped after attempting to leave the relationship, along with multiple instances of domestic violence. In a statement, Cassie expressed her readiness to share her story after years of silence and darkness, aiming to shed light on the trauma she endured and to advocate for other women facing violence in their relationships.

With the expiration of New York’s Adult Survivors Act on the horizon, Cassie seized the opportunity to speak out about her experiences. In response to the allegations, Ben Brafman, Combs’ lawyer, vehemently denied the claims, describing them as “offensive and outrageous.” Brafman revealed that Cassie had initially demanded $30 million, threatening to write a damaging book about their relationship, but the demand was rejected as “blatant blackmail.”

In a counter-statement, Douglas Wigdor, Ventura’s attorney, countered Brafman’s response, stating that Combs had offered eight figures to silence Cassie and prevent the lawsuit. Cassie rejected this offer, choosing instead to give a voice to all women who suffer in silence. Wigdor commended Cassie for her bravery in coming forward.

Reps for Ventura did not immediately respond to Brownstone Worldwide’s request for comment. As this legal matter unfolds, Brownstone Worldwide Media remains committed to reporting on developments while respecting the sensitivity and gravity of the allegations involved.
