Comedian Spoofs OnlyFans to Raise Cash for Wildfire Victims

Milana Vayntrub, the actor and comedian known for her role as the AT&T girl in the telecom giant’s commercials, has taken a unique approach to raising funds for families of color affected by the recent Los Angeles wildfires. Instead of relying on traditional fundraising methods like GoFundMe, Vayntrub has launched a platform called OnlyPhilanthropy, a playful take on the adult content platform OnlyFans.
On OnlyPhilanthropy, Vayntrub is sharing “flirty” photos in exchange for donations to support BIPOC families impacted by the wildfires. While she is not providing explicit content, Vayntrub hopes to “use the male gaze to fight the blaze.” Donors can contribute by purchasing a flirty pic for $69, with options for higher tiers. Vayntrub has committed to donating 100% of the proceeds to help those in need, and in just four days, she has raised nearly $200,000.
“This project is about more than just fundraising; it’s about reshaping the power dynamics of online attention,” Vayntrub explained. She aims to transform male attention into resources for women in need and hopes to inspire other celebrities, influencers, and activists to join her in this “purpose-driven experiment.”
Vayntrub’s personal connection to the cause stems from her own upbringing as a refugee who escaped antisemitism at a young age. Raised in West Hollywood, she has made a name for herself in the entertainment industry with roles in projects like the Judd Apatow Netflix series “Love,” HBO’s “Silicon Valley,” and Showtime’s “Californication.”
Through OnlyPhilanthropy, Vayntrub is not only raising vital funds for families affected by the wildfires but also challenging traditional fundraising norms and empowering individuals to make a difference in a creative and unconventional way. Her efforts serve as a reminder of the importance of using one’s platform for good and leveraging online attention for a meaningful cause.
