DEA raid on Colorado Springs nightclub frequented by MS-13 sees 114 detained

The Colorado Springs nightclub raid conducted by DEA agents over the weekend was a dramatic and intense operation that resulted in the detention of over 100 illegal immigrants. The raid, which involved more than 300 law enforcement officers from federal and local agencies, targeted an underground club suspected of being frequented by members of the MS-13 criminal organization.

Video footage of the raid shows federal officers breaking into the unbranded building, with people inside quickly dispersing into the night. Many of the individuals seen fleeing were dressed in nightclub attire, indicating the nature of the establishment. Additional armed agents were stationed outside to prevent anyone from escaping.

During the operation, DEA agents issued demands for individuals inside the club to exit one by one with their hands raised. The instructions were given in both English and Spanish to ensure comprehension among the diverse group of patrons. It was later revealed that over a dozen active duty service members had been undercover as security guards or patrons during the raid.

Inside the nightclub, agents discovered a significant amount of illegal activities, including drug trafficking, prostitution, and violent crimes. Weapons were seized, and it was reported that active-duty service members were involved in some of these criminal activities. The DEA also found cocaine and pink cocaine, also known as “tusi,” indicating the widespread illicit operations taking place within the club.

Two individuals were arrested on outstanding warrants during the raid, further highlighting the criminal element present in the establishment. Attorney General Pamela Bondi praised the operation as a success in making America safer, citing President Trump’s directive to combat illegal activities. The DEA Rocky Mountain Field Division confirmed that out of the 200 individuals present during the raid, at least 114 were in the U.S. illegally.

Overall, the Colorado nightclub raid was a significant law enforcement operation that targeted criminal activities and illegal immigration. The collaboration between federal and local agencies resulted in the apprehension of individuals involved in various illegal acts, contributing to efforts to maintain public safety and uphold the law.
