Deranged parents plead guilty to forcibly tattooing their young kids with staple while they were tied up

Deranged Texas Couple Pleads Guilty to Forcibly Tattooing Young Children

A Texas couple, Megan and Gunner Farr, recently pleaded guilty to a horrific act of forcibly tattooing their two young children. The children, aged 5 and 9, were restrained, gagged, and blindfolded during the traumatizing ordeal. The couple used a staple to tattoo the children and later frantically tried to remove the markings by scraping and scrubbing their skin, causing severe injuries.

The abuse came to light when Child Protective Services intervened after receiving a report. Zavalla Police Chief Lt. James Denby described the visible injuries on the children’s bodies and the removal of flesh at the tattoo locations as a result of the parents’ actions.

Details of the Disturbing Incident

Megan, 27, and Gunner, 23, tied up their children with rope, blindfolded them, and covered their mouths with tape before forcibly tattooing them in their Zavalla home. The children’s biological father and stepmother raised the alarm after seeing the tattoos and reported the incident to CPS.

During the CPS investigation, it was revealed that the parents resorted to cutting, scraping, and scrubbing the children’s skin with lemon juice in an attempt to erase the tattoos. The children, along with their younger siblings, were removed from the home, and a tattoo kit was recovered by the police during their investigation.

Legal Consequences

Megan Farr pleaded guilty to injuring a child and is set to be sentenced in May. Gunner Farr, who pleaded guilty earlier, was sentenced to five years in prison for bodily injury charges and two years for unlawful restraint. His prison terms will be served concurrently.

The disturbing case of parental abuse and cruelty has shocked the community and raised important questions about child protection and welfare. The couple’s actions have left lasting physical and emotional scars on their children, who are now under the care of authorities.
