Bruce Glover, a beloved character actor known for his role as the assassin Mr. Wint in the James Bond film “Diamonds Are Forever,” passed away on March 12. His son, actor Crispin Glover, confirmed his father’s death on Instagram but did not provide further details.

Born in Chicago, Bruce Glover had a prolific career in film and television. In addition to his memorable role in “Diamonds Are Forever,” he appeared in films such as “Chinatown,” “Walking Tall,” and “Hard Times.” Glover also had a strong presence on television, with credits on shows like “My Favorite Martian,” “Gunsmoke,” “Mission: Impossible,” and “CHiPs.”

One of Glover’s most iconic roles was that of Mr. Wint in “Diamonds Are Forever,” where he starred alongside musician Putter Smith as Mr. Kidd.
