DJ Stephen “Twitch” Boss found dead
The famed DJ on Ellen Degeneres’ talk show, Stephen “tWitch” Boss, appears to have committed suicide, according to news outlets.
According to law enforcement sources, Allison Holker ran into an LAPD station on Tuesday in a frantic state. She said that her husband, Stephen, had left home without his car–something that was very out of character for him.
An L.A. hotel shooting was reported to the police a short time later, where they found Stephen dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Stephen started DJing on Ellen’s show in 2014 and was with her until the show ended in May 2022. In 2020, he became an executive producer on the show.
He really broke into showbiz in 2008, when he was runner-up on “So You Think You Can Dance.” After he danced in several roles, he showed off his skills by landing several parts. Stephen played Jason in the ‘Step Up’ movie franchise, as well as in “Magic Mike XXL.”
Stephen and his wife Allison have been married 9 years and share three children.
Our condolences go out to his family.
