DVSN Releases New Album, ‘Working On My Karma’
DVSN is back.
If you remove their Cheers to the Best Memories project with Ty Dolla $ign, it’s been two years since DVSN released an album (2020’s A Muse In Her Feelings), but the OVO Sound duo of singer Daniel Daley and producer Nineteen85 are officially back in action with the release of their fourth studio album, Working On My Karma.
“Working On My Karma is a story about love, regret, and the potential emotions that can arise after acting on ego,” a statement about the album’s release reads. “With undertones of vulnerability, accountability, and reflection, this album is for the duo’s fans, giving them the R&B sound they know and love with a new twist.”
Drowning in nostalgia, DVSN kicked things off a few months ago utilizing a vocal sample of Jay-Z’s “Song Cry” for the first single, “If I Get Caught.” From there, they linked up with Jermaine Dupri and Jagged Edge for its follow-up, “What’s Up.” And now, with ten additional records and a feature from BLEU, the album has arrived.
Press play and be sure to add Working On My Karma wherever you get music.
