‘Good Daughter’ Peacock Series Casts Olivia Williams, Michael Dorman

Peacock’s upcoming limited series adaptation of “The Good Daughter” has added four new series regulars to its cast. Olivia Williams, Michael Dorman, Audrey Grace Marshall, and Drew Cheek have all joined the show, which is based on the novel by Karin Slaughter. They will be starring alongside previously announced cast members Rose Byrne, Meghann Fahy, Brendan Gleeson, and Harper Steele. Paula Malcomson and Jake McDorman are also set to make appearances in the series.

The official description of the series sets the stage for a suspenseful crime drama involving sisters Charlotte and Samantha Quinn, played by Fahy and Byrne respectively. The story follows the sisters as they try to piece together their fractured lives after a night of violence. When another attack occurs in their small town of Pikeville, Charlotte, now a lawyer like her father, is forced to confront her own demons as shocking revelations unfold. The series ultimately explores whether the sacrifices made as the “good daughter” were truly worth it.

In terms of casting, Olivia Williams will portray Harriet “Gamma” Quinn, while Michael Dorman will play Ben. Audrey Grace Marshall will take on the role of young Sam, and Drew Cheek will portray young Charlie.

The adaptation is being helmed by Karin Slaughter herself, who is also serving as an executive producer on the project. Rose Byrne, in addition to starring in the series, will also executive produce. Other executive producers include Bruna Papandrea, Steve Hutensky, and Casey Haver for Made Up Stories. Steph Green is set to direct all episodes and serve as an executive producer. The series is a collaboration between Made Up Stories and Fifth Season, with the latter handling international distribution.

Stay tuned for more updates on “The Good Daughter” as production continues and the series prepares to make its debut on Peacock.
