Here Are Six Things to Clean in Your House This Week

Hi Neighbors! I don’t know about you, but with everything going on, keeping the house clean sometimes feels like a never-ending task. That’s why I thought I’d share a few simple spots we can all focus on this week to make our homes feel fresh and inviting without spending hours cleaning. These are super quick but make a big difference!

1. The Kitchen Sink

We all use it daily, but did you know the kitchen sink can get even dirtier than the bathroom? Yikes! So, grab some baking soda and vinegar, give it a good scrub, and don’t forget to clean the faucet and handles. It takes just a few minutes and really freshens things up!

2. Bathroom Mirrors and Fixtures

Those mirrors and fixtures sure know how to collect water spots and grime, don’t they? A quick wipe down with vinegar and water (or your favorite glass cleaner) will make them sparkle again. And honestly, a clean mirror always feels like a mini win!

3. Refrigerator Shelves

It’s amazing how fast crumbs and little spills sneak into the fridge, right? Take a few minutes to pull out the shelves, wipe them down with warm, soapy water, and maybe even rearrange things while you’re at it. It’ll make opening the fridge feel like a fresh start every time.

4. Ceiling Fans

If your ceiling fans have been off for a while, they’re probably collecting dust (and we don’t notice until we turn them on again). Use a duster or even an old pillowcase to gently clean the blades, so you’re not spreading dust when you finally switch them on again.

5. Window Tracks

I’ll admit it, window tracks are easy to forget, but wow, they collect a lot of dirt and debris! Grab a vacuum with a nozzle attachment or use an old toothbrush to clean them out. It’s such a small thing, but it makes a big difference when those windows are sparkling clean.

6. Doorknobs and Light Switches

We touch these multiple times a day, but how often do we clean them? A quick disinfecting wipe or spray will help keep germs at bay, especially with flu season around the corner. Plus, it only takes a few minutes to go around and do the whole house!

There you have it, neighbors! These little cleaning tasks don’t take much time, but they’ll keep your home feeling fresh and tidy. If you need any extra hands or cleaning tips, don’t hesitate to ask – that’s what neighbors are for, right?
