JID Taps Yasiin Bey, Lil Wayne, 21 Savage, Lil Durk, Ari Lennox + More For ‘The Forever Story’
This Friday, one of the more anticipated hip hop albums of 2022 finally arrives.
The Forever Story — the third studio album from JID, sequel to his 2017 debut The Never Story, and the long-awaited follow-up to 2018’s DiCaprio 2 — will be released. Led by the focus tracks “Surround Sound” and “Dance Now” (too bad that original outro was scrapped!), the Dreamville talent calls upon a wide array of contributors to assist him throughout: Yasiin Bey, Lil Wayne, 21 Savage, Lil Durk, EARTHGANG, Ari Lennox, Kenny Mason, Mustafa The Poet, Ravyn Lenae, BADBADNOTGOOD, Foushee, and Johnta Austin (who is actually JID’s cousin!).
