Jimmy Kimmel Hits Pete Hegseth With Damning 4-Word Reality Check

Jimmy Kimmel criticized Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth for another scandal involving sharing highly sensitive information via the Signal messaging app.
Hegseth claimed the messages were for “media coordination” and that he mentioned it “from the beginning.”
“Right,” Kimmel sarcastically agreed on “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” “But it was nonsense from the beginning, too!”
Kimmel also doubted Hegseth’s excuse, where he shifted the blame to leakers and the media.
“You texted the exact time and place the secret bombing would begin before it happened to your wife on an easily hackable phone. And his defense is, ‘Who told you and how dare they tell you?'” Kimmel remarked. “This is like your wife catching you in bed with another woman and your response is ‘Well why did you come home so early?'”
Despite that, Hegseth continues to blame leakers even though he’s the one sharing sensitive information through insecure channels.
Kimmel played a montage of Hegseth repeatedly mentioning “leakers,” culminating with him saying, “I don’t have time for leakers.”
“You don’t have time for leakers?” Kimmel repeated in disbelief. “You are the leaker!”
Kimmel then made a cheeky remark about adult diapers.
“You’re the one who leaked this,” he quipped. “You leaked so much you should be wearing Depends to work.”
