Jimmy Kimmel Hits Trump In The Marriage With A Melania Joke
Kimmel joked that Trump had “vomited out” a new self-deportation plan that involves giving undocumented migrants a cash stipend and a plane ticket to leave the country.
“What a deal,” Kimmel quipped. “Usually, when Trump offers an immigrant money and plane tickets to go away, it’s because he’s getting divorced. Melania’s probably thinking, ‘Am I eligible for this?'”
According to Trump’s proposal, “good” immigrants who follow this plan may have a chance to return to the United States.
Kimmel humorously pondered the logistics of the plan.
“So, if I understand correctly, if you’re an undocumented immigrant, Trump wants you to go back home. But if you’re ‘good’ back home, he’ll bring you back here,” Kimmel explained. “They’ll fly you out and then bring you back. Did Spirit Airlines come up with this plan?”
