It is an immense honor to be chosen to lead Queen Bey’s entertainment empire.
Grammy-winning artist Beyoncé Knowles-Carter recently announced the appointment of Justina Omokhua as Senior Vice President of Parkwood Entertainment, to oversee the daily operations of the company, which serves as both a film and production company, and a record label and management firm.
After six months of successful leadership and contributions to the creative, editorial, public relations, and technology departments, Omokhua had already become an integral part of Parkwood Entertainment.
Beyoncé, Founder and Chairwoman of Parkwood Entertainment, stated that Justina brings a wealth of marketing knowledge and experience to Parkwood Entertainment. Her official welcome to the team is a source of pleasure for me, and I am thrilled to have the benefit of her knowledge as we move forward.
With years of leadership experience in marketing positions for major companies, Omokhua has moved into her new position as Parkwood’s Senior Vice President. Endeavor has employed the businesswoman as their Senior Vice President, building on her experience in Brand Marketing from her prior roles at WME and IMG. In her role as Global Head of Content and Lifestyle Strategy at Apple, she was tasked with building the brand across its Apple Services suite of businesses. Before embarking on her tech and entertainment career, Omokhua had worked in marketing for Pepsi, Nokia, L’Oréal, and Verizon.
The Toronto-born daughter of Nigerian parents is set to broaden her global perspectives in her new position at Parkwood Entertainment.
Omokhua said that Parkwood is the epitome of excellence and that it is an opportunity of a lifetime to serve in this role. We will persist in pushing the limits and questioning the existing system.
