Lady Gaga Sued Over ‘Mayhem’ Album, Surf Company Says She Jacked Their Logo

Lady Gaga is facing legal trouble as a surfboard brand, Lost International, has filed a lawsuit against her for trademark infringement. The surf company claims that Lady Gaga has copied their logo for her new album “Mayhem” without permission.

According to the lawsuit obtained by TMZ, Lost International has been using a stylized version of the term “Mayhem” on their surfboards and merchandise for over a decade. They allege that Lady Gaga’s use of the term on her album is nearly identical to their logo design.

In the court documents, Lost included a comparison of their “Mayhem” logo with the one Lady Gaga is using, pointing out the similarities between the two designs. The surf brand asserts that they have owned the trademark for “Mayhem” since 2015 and accuses Lady Gaga of misappropriating their logo.

Despite raising concerns with Lady Gaga about the use of their trademarked logo, Lost claims that she did not stop using it. As a result, the surf company has decided to take legal action against the pop star.

Lost International is seeking to block Lady Gaga from further using their logo and is also seeking damages, including any profits she may have made from using the “Mayhem” logo. TMZ reached out to Lady Gaga’s representatives for comment, but there has been no response so far.

This legal battle highlights the importance of protecting intellectual property rights and the consequences of unauthorized use of trademarks. It serves as a reminder for artists and companies to be vigilant about respecting the intellectual property of others to avoid legal disputes.
