Mickey Rourke is on the verge of being kicked out of “Celebrity Big Brother” after making a string of offensive remarks, including directing a homophobic slur towards JoJo Siwa.
The actor was taken aside in the house to have a conversation in the Diary Room, where ‘Big Brother’ informed him that his language was deemed “unacceptable.”
During a previous episode, Mickey asked Siwa, who publicly came out as gay in 2021, about her preferences. When JoJo mentioned her partner is nonbinary, Mickey insinuated that he could potentially change her sexual orientation by being around her for a few days.
Subsequently, Rourke expressed his intention to swiftly vote out the lesbian contestant and made inappropriate comments, including using offensive language. He later clarified his remarks as mere banter aimed at his competitors.
‘Big Brother’ issued Mickey an official warning, which prompted him to apologize and justify his actions as part of the competitive environment within the house.
Upon exiting the Diary Room, Rourke acknowledged his reprimand to his fellow housemates, who highlighted the impact of his words on JoJo’s emotions, leading to a direct apology from Mickey.
I felt so bad for AJ Adudu! She didn’t deserve that at all! Mickey Rourke’s disgusting behavior by touching her & then trying to drag her into the house, which she asked him to let go of her hand multiple times! He needs to be evicted from the house! #CelebrityBigBrotherUK https://t.co/fKOgDrt4WG
Previously, Rourke stirred controversy by inappropriately touching and staring at host AJ Odudu, leading her to demand that he cease his behavior.
Despite the warnings, Mickey Rourke remains on the show for now, but his actions have not endeared him to his fellow housemates.
