New local restaurants open at Denver International Airport

Denver International Airport (DIA) continues to welcome more of the city’s well-known restaurants, some of which have been eagerly awaiting their opening for years as construction timelines gradually unfold.

The Bagel Deli
The family-owned Bagel Deli, known for its five-decade-old Jewish diner on East Hampden Avenue, is now open in the Concourse A Marketplace at DIA. The restaurant offers “fresh bagels, stacked sandwiches, and authentic deli fare, perfect for a quick, satisfying meal before your flight or to take on the plane.”
The Bindery
The Bindery, originally set to open in early 2023, will now be serving its popular dishes near gates 24 and 26 in Concourse A. The restaurant is now scheduled to open in May, pending a liquor license permit from Denver’s excise and license department.
Cholon Modern Bistro
The popular Asian fusion restaurant Cholon Modern Bistro by chef Lon Symensma opened in mid-December in Concourse C near Gate 62. The menu features “signature dishes inspired by Southeast Asia and Western Europe, from savory dim sum offerings to wok-fried creations.”
D Bar
Although Keegan Gerhard’s cafe in Denver’s Uptown neighborhood has closed, the D Bar location in Central Park specializing in desserts and sweet treats remains open. The newest D Bar location is set to open near Gate A38 at DIA this weekend.
Finch on the Fly
Finch on the Fly, an offshoot of the Olive & Finch cafe, opened on Jan. 29 in Concourse A, offering “high-quality, healthy, and affordable fare” from chef Mary Nguyen. Olive & Finch is expanding with two new locations downtown.
Marczyk Fine Foods
Marczyk Fine Foods, a specialty neighborhood market in Denver, has expanded to DIA, offering grab-and-go items, fresh-made sandwiches, salads, and snacks, as well as a full wine and beer bar near Gate C62.
Maria Empanada
Lorena Cantarovici’s South American empanada specialty restaurant, Maria Empanada, will open in May near Gate 24 in Concourse A at DIA, following the success of her newest Denver location on East Colfax Avenue.
Ostera Marco
Osteria Marco, known for fresh pasta and pizza, is set to open possibly in June on the upstairs mezzanine on the B Concourse near the escalator to the trains at DIA. This will be the second airport restaurant operation for Denver chef and restaurateur Frank Bonanno.
Teatulia Tea & Coffee Bar
Teatulia Tea & Coffee Bar, known for sourcing organic teas from its garden in Bangladesh, will feature its signature tea and coffee lattes, iced teas, and wellness blends near Gate 62 in the C Concourse at DIA.

Tocabe
Tocabe, specializing in Native American cuisine, opened in DIA’s Terminal A on April 7.
Uncle
Uncle, known for putting Denver ramen on the map, will be serving noodle bowls near Gate A24 at DIA starting in May.
Williams & Graham
Williams & Graham, the award-winning Denver bar known for its classic cocktails, is set to open near Gate A38 at DIA on April 21, offering first-class cocktails for all travelers.
