The highly anticipated fourth season of Prime Video’s hit Indian comedy-drama “Panchayat” is set to premiere on July 2nd, coinciding with the show’s fifth anniversary since its debut in 2020. Created by The Viral Fever (TVF), the series has garnered a dedicated fan base over its first three seasons, thanks to its unique blend of rural charm, relatable characters, and heartfelt storytelling. Fans can look forward to more slice-of-life adventures in the fictional village of Phulera in the upcoming installment.
“Panchayat” follows the journey of Abhishek, an engineering graduate who takes on the role of secretary at a village panchayat office in rural Uttar Pradesh. Season 4 will see Abhishek and the colorful residents of Phulera facing new challenges with the show’s signature humor and emotional depth.
Director Deepak Kumar Mishra is back at the helm of the series, with scripts by Chandan Kumar. The ensemble cast, including Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav, Faisal Malik, Chandan Roy, and Sanvikaa, will all return for the new season.
