Pentagon Launches Probe After ‘Woke’ Diversity Chief’s Racist Tweets Exposed
Between UFOs, poorly executed social media military psyops, and Chinese parts popping up in military aircraft, the Pentagon has had its hands full with reviews, investigations, and probes.
The latest to add to the list is the discovery that their newly promoted Diversity Chief for the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) may not have been such a wise hire.
Fox News Digital last week discovered past tweets by Diversity Chief Kelisa Wing that showed apparent disdain for white people, using various slang terms to describe them in her tweets.
In addition to heading diversity for the DoDEA, Ms. Wing is also a children’s book author, publishing numerous books under the series ‘Racial Justice in America’.
Kelisa Wing is the chief “diversity, equity & inclusion’” officer at the Department of Defense’s Education Activity office. She’s under investigation for anti-white tweets.
She mocked white people using the names ‘Karen’ and ‘CAUdacity’ meaning Caucasian. https://t.co/zkKd8GkxZy pic.twitter.com/rkOnGCKoib

With members of the GOP raising concerns that the military has become a breeding ground of woke indoctrination that could be part of what has hurt the recent military recruitment efforts, you can’t help but wonder if they are onto something.
As someone who recently retired from the military after 20 years of service, I can confirm that they are indeed.

Ms. Wing is a self-described ‘Woke Administrator’ and, according to her now deactivated or deleted LinkedIn profile, had been working for the Department of Defense for the last 16 years. Last December, Ms. Wing was promoted to the Diversity Chief position within DoDEA.
For those unfamiliar with the DoDEA, the organization within the DoD provides Kindergarten through 12th-grade education to the DoD community. Officially DoDEA:
“Directs…education programs for school age children of DOD personnel.”
The part to keep in mind throughout this article is coming up, the DoDEA:
“Provides support and resources to local educational agencies throughout the United States that serve children of military families.”
So what kind of support can we expect?
Ms. Wing tweeted in June of 2020:
“I’m exhausted with these white folx in these [professional development] sessions. This lady actually had the caudacity to say that black people can be racist too…I had to stop the session and give Karen the BUSINESS…We are not the majority, we don’t have power.”
Who’s Kelisa Wing? She’s the DEI officer at Department of Defense. She’s a black woman who has written books on “white privilege.” Biden, his regime & the Pentagon are destroying our military with wokeness. pic.twitter.com/EDE2s9qjGv

Oh boy, so much to unpack in that tweet.

I Might Lose It
Even if her above tweet had been spelled correctly and grammatically accurate, it should still have immediately, at a minimum, disqualified her for the Diversity Chief position, which undoubtedly probably shouldn’t exist to begin with.
For those who aren’t following, ‘caudacity’ is a made-up portmanteau that combines caucasian and audacity.
Essentially, this woke jargon means to say that if you’re white and accurately state that nonwhite people can be racist, you are exhibiting ‘caudacity.’ But perhaps the best tweet was a response to another user who had posted:
“I am exhausted by 99% of the white men in education and 95% of the white women. Where can I get a break from white nonsense for awhile?”
I could do an entire article on that tweet alone. Ms. Wing replied:
“If another Karen tells me about her feelings…I might lose it…”
Again for those who aren’t following, a ‘Karen’ is a derogatory term for a white woman who usually is middle-aged and annoying in some capacity. Or as the liberal media describes it, “white women weaponizing their victimhood.”
The new Diversity Chief doesn’t seem all that interested in diversity; she certainly has made it clear she isn’t interested in the viewpoints of anyone white.
Kelisa Wing, the chief diversity, equity and inclusion officer at the Dept of Defense’s education branch, co-authored a children’s book called “What Does It Mean to Defund the Police?”
These are the people that Joe Biden has put in charge of our military. They need to get out.

It Gets Worse
Not only had Ms. Wing illustrated her bias publicly via tweets, but she also was able to illustrate the same via the published word. That’s right; she’s a children’s author. I really need to get going on my book because it feels like literally anybody can do it.
The books in her series focus on racial justice, discussing defunding the police, BLM, and white privilege. Again, these books are for children.
In her book ‘What is White Privilege?’ she encourages white kids to “unpack” their “backpack” of privilege. Clever.
In ‘What is Black Lives Matter?’ she states “almost all” the protests post-George Floyd’s murder were “peaceful.” A problematic argument to make when there was over $1 billion in damages, recorded as the most expensive in insurance history.
Not to mention the, ahem, 25 people killed during the riots.

Getting Thick In Here
After Ms. Wing’s promotion was announced to this new position, the Director of DoDEA, Thomas Brady, said:
“This new position will take a holistic approach to identifying and improving how we integrate the practice of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in every aspect of DoDEA, from curriculum and assessment to hiring and professional development.”
Think about that for a second. This person has been in charge of influencing what military children learn, how they are tested, and the hiring of teachers that work in the schools on military installations.
A spokesperson for DoDEA said after the recent revelations:
“Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion efforts in…[DoDEA] are an important part of building and sustaining an organizational culture where all students, educators, and staff are valued and respected.”
Hard to say I buy that, given that the Chief of your Diversity program for DoDEA spent a fair amount of time on her Twitter feed trashing an entire demographic of society. But still, the spokesperson went on to say:
“Our focus remains on ensuring military-connected students, their families, and our employees have equitable access to opportunities and resources that support student achievement and readiness for college and careers.”
Do you buy any of that? Because I don’t.
In fact, Wing was named the DoDEA “Teacher of the Year” in 2017.
The US Military may never recover from the absence of leadership during the Austin/Milley regime. Anyone who saw Austin reviewing the troops while masked and face shielded understands. Sad, political hacks who promoted more of the same woke, weak military bosses.

What’s Worse?
The DEI cult has infiltrated our military and has been in its ranks for quite some time. I’m not sure what is worse; whether the hiring authority for this position didn’t do their due diligence and check this individual’s background thoroughly, or if they had and didn’t care.
I’d say you have a 50/50 shot on which one happened. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin has regularly touted his dedication to stamping our racial bias and “extremism” in the military.
Where was he with this particular hire? Perhaps he and General Mark Milley were too busy reading about the General’s “White Rage.”
The real victims of this sort of ridiculousness and outrageous example of DEI pandering aren’t just the children in these schools and the employees in these schools, but the military families. Unfortunately, for many young military families, the only option for your child’s education is these DoDEA schools.
It’s no wonder the military is struggling to retain the best and the brightest.
