‘Phineas and Ferb’ Video Starts Rap Beef With John Oliver

Phineas and Ferb Creators Challenge John Oliver to a Rap Battle

John Oliver found himself in a playful feud with the creators of “Phineas and Ferb” after mistakenly claiming he didn’t know where the popular animated show airs. During an appearance on Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live,” Oliver confessed that his kids are big fans of “Phineas and Ferb,” but couldn’t pinpoint the network it airs on. This led to creators Dan Povenmire and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh to clap back in a hilarious rap video.

Povenmire and Marsh, known for their wit and humor in the animated series, took the opportunity to challenge Oliver to make amends by providing a voice on the show. They playfully mentioned that Oliver’s colleague Jon Stewart had already lent his voice to the show in the past. The rap video, shared on social media, garnered attention and set the stage for a friendly rap beef between the creators and Oliver.

To add to the fun, “Phineas and Ferb” plans to surprise Oliver with a large cutout of Perry the Platypus and an invite to the show’s upcoming premiere event. Povenmire’s social media presence and the anticipation surrounding the show’s revival have only added fuel to the playful exchange.

The new season of “Phineas and Ferb,” set to premiere on Disney Channel and Disney+ this summer, brings back the beloved characters and voice actors from the original show. The trailer for the revival has already generated excitement among fans, promising more adventures and humor from Phineas, Ferb, Candace, and Perry the Platypus.

Mark your calendars for June 5th for the return of “Phineas and Ferb” on Disney Channel and Disney XD, with subsequent episodes premiering on Disney+ the following day. The inventive step-brothers, along with their friends and foes, are gearing up for another summer of fun and mischief in the Tri-State area.
