Rapper and entrepreneur Jadakiss has launched a new coffee brand called Kiss Café. He teamed up with his father, Bob Phillips, and his son, Jaewon, to create a brand that boasts three generations of legacy, loyalty, and the love of coffee.

For over 4 decades, the Phillips family has been involved in the coffee industry. His dad, Bob, joined the industry in 1977 and has served as the President and CEO of Caturra Corp., a boutique importing and trading firm that specializes in international green coffees.

“This is one of my proudest professional and personal achievements,” the eldest Phillips said, according to Vibe. “There is no greater honor than taking what you’ve learned in this life and inspiring your family to join you and bring that pursuit to the next level.”

On the other hand, Jadakiss’ 24-year-old son Jaewon got into the coffee industry in 2018. He said, “Kiss Café is authentic. It’s real. No gimmicks. It’s been in our family for well over 40 years and everything we do here is from the core.”

Kiss Café currently offers its first official product named Beijo, which means kiss in Portuguese. The Arabica blend in medium-dark roast sourced in South and Central America is available in two options — whole bean or ground. At this time, Beijo is exclusively sold on Kiss Café’s website but they aim to partner with retail and experiential stores.

“This coffee is for all coffee lovers,” the 47-year-old rapper-entrepreneur said. “No specific age or background or knowledge. Coffee is a universal and a personal thing. Everyone enjoys it differently. And, we’re here to help them do that.”
