R&B singer Mark Morrison arrested in Florida for shoving restaurant manager

R&B singer Mark Morrison found himself in hot water once again after an altercation at a restaurant in Palm Beach, Florida led to his arrest. The incident reportedly occurred at Le Bar à Vin, where Morrison got into a heated argument with the manager over an event that had taken place the night before.

Witnesses stated that Morrison stormed into the restaurant, yelling and cursing at the general manager about the event he had planned. The situation escalated when Morrison allegedly shoved the manager during the confrontation. Fortunately, a witness intervened and separated the two before things got out of hand.

Following the altercation, Morrison was arrested by the police and charged with simple battery. He was photographed being placed in handcuffs by the arresting officers and spent the night in detention before posting a $1,000 bond and being released the next morning.

According to the restaurant’s nightlife manager, Fabrizio Riillo, Morrison had brought another singer to the venue for an event on Friday. There was an issue with the volume of the music, which led to the confrontation on Saturday night.

Morrison’s attorney, Rick King, claimed that the incident was racially charged and that they are working to address the facts of the case. King emphasized that Morrison is cooperating with the authorities and expressed confidence that he will be cleared of any wrongdoing after a thorough investigation.

The singer is scheduled to appear in court for his arraignment on April 15 at the Palm Beach County Courthouse. Morrison is best known for his hit songs from the 1990s, including “Crazy,” “Let’s Get Down,” and “Return of the Mack,” which achieved significant success on the music charts.

Morrison has had previous legal issues, including convictions for attempting to bring a firearm aboard an airliner and for hiring a lookalike to do his court-ordered community service. Despite his past troubles, Morrison continues to make music and entertain fans with his unique style and sound.
