Report: Paul Pelosi’s Hammer-Wielding Attacker Is an Illegal Immigrant

[ad_1]

Sources with Immigrations and Customers Enforcement (ICE) have indicated David DePape, the man accused of assaulting Paul Pelosi with a hammer, is an illegal immigrant.

Sources cited both by Fox News and the New York Post state DePape had illegal status due to overstaying his visa.

He was reportedly born in Canada and emigrated to the U.S. about 20 years ago.

The Post notes that he obtained a social security number with a job in 2001, though there is no indication of how long he remained in the United States past the legal threshold.

Paul Pelosi Attacker an Illegal Immigrant

The media have spent much of the time following the attack on Paul Pelosi portraying him as a right-wing conspiracy theorist (something that may ultimately prove true) but have downplayed his status as an illegal immigrant.

Any journalist with an ounce of integrity would add a question regarding DePape’s illegal status to their arsenal, especially in light of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s stance on illegal immigration and the fact that the couple lives in the sanctuary city of San Francisco.

Paul Pelosi was the victim of a heinous assault inside his San Francisco home after DePape reportedly broke in the Speaker’s home. He reportedly was seeking the Democrat congresswoman to hold her hostage and break “her kneecaps” if he caught her lying.

DePape, aside from being an illegal immigrant, now faces charges of assault and attempted kidnapping involving the family of a federal official.

He faces up to 50 years in prison according to a statement by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of California.

Do Illegal Immigrants Still Have a ‘Spark of Divinity’?

It’s time for journalists to start lining up some hard-hitting questions for the Speaker of the House. Mainly – Does she still believe that all illegal immigrants have “dignity and worth”?

At a press gathering in 2019, Mrs. Pelosi invoked religion as a means of protecting the worth of an illegal immigrant, all of whom supposedly “have a spark of divinity.”

At the time she was referencing former President Donald Trump’s insistence on securing the border as being “not consistent with our faith, with our belief that every person has — has dignity and worth, that every person has a spark of divinity within them that we need to respect.”

The California Democrat came to the defense of MS-13 gang members when Trump referred to them correctly as “animals.”

“There is a spark of divinity among every person on earth, and we all have to recognize that as we respect the dignity and worth of every person,” Pelosi said.

Will she be able to find that spark of divinity with DePape after he assaulted her husband?
