Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge Durability Could Get a Titanium Boost

If you have concerns about the durability of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S25 Edge, recent claims may put your mind at ease. Renowned tipster Ice Universe has suggested that the Galaxy S25 Edge will feature a titanium alloy frame, adding toughness without compromising on weight.
This new information contradicts earlier rumors that the Galaxy S25 Ultra would have an aluminum and ceramic build. However, there is reason to believe that the titanium frame rumor may hold true.
Following the Galaxy S25 Edge’s Titanium Trail
Last week, leaked details about the Galaxy S25 Edge’s color options surfaced. According to Android Headlines, the phone will be available in Titanium Icyblue, Titanium Silver, and Titanium Jetblack. These color names align with the titanium frame rumors, unlike the color options for the Galaxy S25 and S25 Plus, which are made of aluminum.
The clues point to the Galaxy S25 Edge having a titanium frame, reinforcing the speculation.

Galaxy S25 Edge to Look Particularly Sharp
In addition to the titanium frame, Ice Universe revealed that the Galaxy S25 Edge will boast a 2K screen. This aligns with previous rumors suggesting similarities to the Galaxy S25+ screen, a 6.7-inch AMOLED with a 3,120 x 1,440 resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 is expected to launch in April, positioned between the S25+ and S25 Ultra in terms of pricing. With premium components like the titanium frame and high-resolution screen, the Galaxy S25 Edge is shaping up to be a compelling option for smartphone enthusiasts.
