Sick new details in case of perv who tortured granny with nailgun: docs

The horrifying case of Jeffrey Zizz, the handyman accused of torturing an 82-year-old grandmother to death with a nail gun, has shocked the community. Zizz, with a disturbing past that includes molesting his three daughters while working as a pastor in Washington, has now been charged with the brutal murder of Marcia Norman.
Zizz, a convicted child molester, served just 11 months in jail after pleading guilty to abusing his daughters while serving as a pastor at Calvary Chapel of North Thurston in Lacey. Prosecutors revealed that he had molested his daughters over a period of two years, with one daughter being subjected to intercourse at the age of 11. Despite facing multiple charges, Zizz struck a plea deal that allowed him to avoid jail time as long as he stayed away from his children and received treatment for mental illness.
After being released on parole, Zizz began working as a handyman for Marcia Norman. Norman, who was last seen having dinner with Zizz, disappeared shortly after inviting him into her home. Her body was later discovered encased in concrete and buried under a shed that Zizz had recently built.
A coroner’s report revealed that Norman had been tortured for hours with a nail gun before her death. Detectives found a disturbing five-page letter in Zizz’s possession detailing plans for a burglary and sexual assault, although it did not appear that Norman had been sexually assaulted.
Thurston County Sheriff Derek Sanders expressed frustration over the release of dangerous individuals like Zizz back into the community. Zizz is now facing charges of murder and other offenses and is being held without bail.
This tragic case serves as a reminder of the importance of thorough background checks and monitoring of individuals with a history of violent or abusive behavior. The community mourns the loss of Marcia Norman and hopes for justice to be served in her memory.
