Man Sought by Police for Allegedly Sexually Abusing Corpse on Manhattan Subway

Authorities are on the lookout for an individual accused of engaging in disturbing acts with a deceased man’s body on a Manhattan subway train. The incident took place on the R train around 11:45 PM on Tuesday night, as reported by police sources.

The suspect, who remains unidentified, is wanted by the NYPD for allegedly assaulting the deceased man before exiting the Whitehall Street subway station in lower Manhattan shortly after midnight.

The deceased individual, whose identity is yet to be disclosed, is believed to have passed away from natural causes, according to sources. Investigators do not suspect any prior connection between the deceased and the accused.

The suspect is described as a 5 feet 9 inches tall, 195-pound individual with black hair and brown eyes, as indicated in a wanted poster. His last known address was on Manor Avenue in the Soundview section of the Bronx.

The deceased man boarded the subway around 8 PM, while the suspect entered the train approximately three hours later. The exact boarding location of the suspect remains unclear.

Security footage captured the suspect engaging in inappropriate behavior with the deceased victim around 11:45 PM, after which he disembarked the train at approximately 12:08 AM, as per sources.
