Social media star Ricci Wynne indicted on child porn charges

Social Media Influencer Indicted for Allegedly Producing Child Pornography
A well-known social media influencer who gained notoriety for shedding light on the drug-infested streets of San Francisco is now facing serious charges. Ricci Wynne, 39, has been indicted on two counts of producing child pornography, in addition to the human trafficking charges he was already facing following his arrest in November.
According to federal documents filed on Tuesday, Wynne allegedly coerced two minors into engaging in sexually explicit conduct for the purpose of producing a visual depiction of such conduct. Prosecutors believe that Wynne planned to profit from the disturbing footage.
Wynne, who is already in federal prison, was initially arrested in November on suspicion of pimping and pandering. Police seized his iPhone at the time, which contained footage of underage sex acts.
It was revealed that Wynne was already on probation after pleading guilty in 2019 to being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition, as well as possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.

Despite his criminal past, Wynne claimed to have turned his life around and sought to document the crime and drugs plaguing San Francisco. His videos, which depicted drug users and homeless individuals, gained traction on social media, particularly on conservative channels like Libs of TikTok.
In a 2023 interview with KRON4, Wynne stated, “I changed my life and am trying to do something good for the community. (San Franciscans) need to stand up for our city. By running away, you don’t do anything.”
Wynne has been inactive on social media since his arrest, and his YouTube account has reportedly been removed for violating community guidelines.
If convicted on the new charges, Wynne could face a minimum of 15 years in prison, a $250,000 fine, and at least five years of supervised release.
