‘Ted Lasso’ Searching for New Actor to Play Jason Sudeikis’ Son

Apple TV+ has officially announced the return of “Ted Lasso” for Season 4, and they are currently in search of a new young actor to portray Henry, the soccer-loving son of AFC Richmond’s coach. Warner Bros. Television has not provided any comments regarding this exciting news.
In the previous seasons, Gus Turner played the role of Henry, who was mostly seen during FaceTime calls with his father, Ted Lasso, played by Jason Sudeikis. Henry resided in Kansas with his mother Michelle, while Ted was busy coaching soccer in London. Despite the distance, Henry managed to visit his father in London on several occasions. Notably, Henry welcomed Ted back home to Kansas in the Season 3 finale.
As of now, Jason Sudeikis is the only confirmed cast member for Season 4, reprising his role as Ted Lasso. While options have been picked up for other series regulars such as Hannah Waddingham, Brett Goldstein, and Jeremy Swift, their involvement in the upcoming season is yet to be confirmed.
Season 4 of “Ted Lasso” will see the addition of Jack Burditt as an executive producer, under his overall deal with Apple TV+. Alongside Sudeikis, executive producers include Brendan Hunt, Toheeb Jimoh, Joe Kelly, Jane Becker, Jamie Lee, and Bill Wrubel. Goldstein will also take on the role of writer and executive producer for the new season, alongside Leanne Bowen.
Bill Lawrence, from Doozer Productions, serves as an executive producer with Jeff Ingold and Liza Katzer. Sara Walker and Phoebe Walsh will write and produce the new season, with Sasha Garron as co-producer. Julia Lindon and Dylan Marron will also be part of the writing team. Warner Bros. Television, in partnership with Universal Television, will produce the new season.
Deadline was the first to report on the recasting news for “Ted Lasso.” Fans can expect an exciting new chapter in the series as production gears up for Season 4. Stay tuned for more updates on the casting and storyline of this beloved show.
