Tigers-Orioles game postponed by rain, teams will play a split doubleheader Saturday

The Detroit Tigers and Baltimore Orioles game scheduled for Friday was unfortunately postponed due to rain, but fans can look forward to a doubleheader on Saturday to make up for the missed game.
The Tigers made the announcement of the postponement at 5 p.m., just two hours before the game was supposed to start. This decision was made in consideration of the safety of the players and fans, as playing in rainy conditions can be dangerous.
The doubleheader on Saturday will consist of two games, with the first game starting at 1:10 p.m. and the makeup game following at 6:10 p.m. This will give fans the opportunity to enjoy a full day of baseball action at Comerica Park.
In the first game of the doubleheader, RHP Casey Mize, with a record of 3-1 and an impressive 2.22 ERA, is set to start for the Tigers. He will face off against RHP Brandon Young, who is looking for his first win of the season with a 0-0 record and a 6.75 ERA. The Tigers have yet to announce a starter for the second game, while RHP Charlie Morton, with a record of 0-5 and a 10.89 ERA, will take the mound for the Orioles.
