Top MS-13 leader arrested by US authorities in Virginia: FBI

The FBI announced on Thursday that they have successfully captured the top leader of the MS-13 gang for the U.S. East Coast. The 24-year-old suspect was apprehended in Woodbridge, Virginia, just south of Washington, D.C. Although the suspect’s name has not been released, authorities have confirmed that he is one of the top three leaders of the notorious MS-13 gang in the United States.

The arrest was closely monitored by Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel. Bondi expressed her gratitude for the successful operation, stating, “They executed a clean, safe operation and the bad guy is in custody. Thanks to the FBI, we have taken one of the worst of the worst MS-13 members off the streets. Virginia and the entire country are much safer today.”

The collaborative effort involved multiple law enforcement agencies, including the FBI, Prince William County Police Department, ATF, ICE, and the Virginia State Police. President Donald Trump also commended the operation, particularly praising Tom Homan, a key figure in the arrest.

Director Patel commended the law enforcement officers for their dedication and bravery in conducting a safe operation. He emphasized the importance of putting capable officers in the right positions to combat criminal organizations like MS-13. The successful capture of the MS-13 leader serves as a reminder of the tireless efforts of law enforcement agencies to ensure the safety and security of the American people.
