Twitter has subscription options coming are you going to stick around?

Whether you subscribe to the relaunched Twitter Blue service or buy one of the blue bird statues from its San Francisco office, Twitter is ready for you to hand over some cash. Since his April acquisition, one of Elon Musk’s strategies to monetize the social media company and shake up platform dynamics has been Twitter Blue.
What do you receive each month with that subscription? Do the different colors of these check marks mean anything to you? This is all the information you require.
What are the benefits of subscribing?
You need to verify the phone number connected to your account and check to see if your account is eligible before you sign up for Twitter Blue. The cost of Twitter Blue is either $11 per month if you sign up through the iOS store on your iPhone or $8 per month if you subscribe through a web browser. This price difference is not unheard of for Apple’s App Store; a similar price hike for iOS originated subscriptions is seen with YouTube Music.
You’re paying for attention with Twitter Blue. A blue check mark will be stamped onto your profile after your account is reviewed. One signup page describing the service’s future benefits reads, “Rocket to the top of replies, mentions, and search.” “Tweets from verified users will be prioritized in order to help fight scams and spam. Two other features that the company claims are arriving soon for Twitter Blue subscribers include a reduction of in-app ads and the ability to share extended video content.”
What do you get right now? A long-requested feature, you instantly get the ability to edit your Tweets multiple times within the first half-hour of posting. Twitter Blue subscribers can upload video files at 1080p quality, while you will need to wait for longer videos. Do you still have that same old boring ape, crazy kitty, loudmouth larva, or whatever the latest NFT collection is? Use the following sentence as your profile picture on Twitter with the blue background.
The upgraded service allows for you to make aesthetic adjustments to your experience. Change the appearance of your smartphone’s icon or tweak the in-app colors. You can now sort through your bookmarked tweets and organize them into private folders.
One warning: If you sign up for Twitter Blue, you will lose your check mark, Twitter handle, display name, and photo. If any of the information on your profile is changed, the site may remove your check mark for a brief period of time, according to the site’s FAQ page. This may be due to the fact that Musk dislikes accounts that imitate him on the platform that he now owns.
What do all of these different check marks mean?
“Everything happens so much,” said Twitter user @Horse_ebooks on December 10, when the platform announced further plans to change how check marks work. Accounts that were previously verified with a blue check mark might retain the verification without a Twitter Blue subscription, but the account is labeled as a “legacy verification.”
Some users may start to see certain accounts with either gold or gray check marks. Twitter says that gold is for official business accounts and gray is for government accounts.
Are you still sure you want to be on Twitter after everything?
