Utah mom Jennifer Gledhill demanded $13K from her dad days before she allegedly killed National Guardsman husband

Jennifer Gledhill, 42, reached out to her father, Thomas Ray Gledhill, requesting $13,000 on September 18th. However, this desperate plea for money preceded the shocking event where investigators believe she fatally shot her husband, Matthew Johnson, in the master bedroom of their Cottonwood Heights home, located just outside Salt Lake City.

Following the tragic incident, Thomas and Rosalie Christianson Gledhill, Jennifer’s parents, were arrested on four felony counts of first-degree obstruction of justice for allegedly aiding their daughter in cleaning up the crime scene. Witnesses reported seeing the elderly couple at Jennifer’s house for an extended period around the time of the killing.

Further investigation revealed that Jennifer received a new mattress post the suspected murder, which her mother admitted to purchasing through Amazon.
