Victoria Goodwin pleads guilty to plotting ‘Ghost Adventures’ star husband’s murder

The wife of “Ghost Adventures” host Aaron Goodwin has reached a plea agreement to plead guilty to soliciting a hitman to kill the paranormal TV star. Victoria Goodwin, 32, has filed the plea agreement with the Clark County District Court, agreeing to plead guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit murder. This offense could potentially land her behind bars for a period of two to 10 years, as reported by KSNV.
Victoria Goodwin was arrested last month after allegedly communicating with an inmate at a Florida prison in 2024 to organize a murder-for-hire scheme targeting her husband, Aaron Goodwin. She is said to have messaged the inmate, expressing her desire to end her husband’s life rather than pursuing a divorce.
According to reports, Victoria offered $11,515 to pay for the hit and provided information about her husband’s whereabouts to the inmate, who was in contact with a potential hitman to carry out the deed. She allegedly made a down payment of $2,500 to proceed with the plan while Aaron was filming “Ghost Adventures” in California.
The murder-for-hire plot came to light after Florida corrections officers intercepted the inmate’s phone conversations. Initially, prosecutors charged Victoria Goodwin with both conspiracy and solicitation to commit murder, but the solicitation charge was dropped last week.
Following his wife’s arrest, Aaron Goodwin promptly filed for divorce, stating in his complaint that there was no possibility of reconciliation. Prosecutors have indicated that they will not provide any sentencing recommendations during Victoria’s upcoming arraignment hearing.
Victoria Goodwin is scheduled to enter her plea next Tuesday, as per the latest updates on the case.
