Wild mob smashes windows of NYPD vehicles after cops respond to apparent car meet-up: video

A chaotic scene unfolded in Queens early Sunday morning as hordes of hoodlums vandalized three police cars during a wild car meet-up along Rockaway Boulevard in Ozone Park. The rowdy brutes smashed windows, jumped on vehicles, and threw traffic cones at the responding police cars, causing significant damage.
Video footage captured the mayhem, showing individuals leaning against the unmarked car, smashing a traffic cone against the front windshield, and jumping on top of the vehicle before it sped away with sirens blaring. The ruffians also targeted a marked NYPD cruiser, throwing traffic cones at it in the midst of the commotion.
The NYPD reported that three police cars sustained dents and broken windows as a result of the vandalism. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the incident. Three individuals were arrested in the Bronx around 3:45 a.m. in connection with the chaos.

GOP mayoral candidate Curtis Sliwa condemned the brazen law-breaking, attributing it to progressive policies. He emphasized the importance of allowing law enforcement to do their jobs without fear, hesitation, or political interference. Sliwa pledged to restore law and order, promising to bring back the New York that residents know and love. The incident serves as a stark reminder of the challenges faced by law enforcement in maintaining public safety in the city.
