WWE legend Kane challenges Tim Walz to charity wrestling match

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz has found himself in hot water after making controversial comments about Trump supporters. In response, WWE legend Kane, also known as Glenn Jacobs, has challenged Walz to a charity wrestling match.

Standing at 7 feet tall and weighing over 300 pounds during his wrestling career, Kane is not someone to be taken lightly. Now serving as the mayor of Knox County in Tennessee, Jacobs issued the challenge to Walz on social media, proposing that they split the gate 50/50 between their chosen organizations for charity. Kane even kickstarted the donations with a generous $10,000 contribution.

Walz, who was Vice President Kamala Harris’ running mate in the last election, made his bold statement on California Governor Gavin Newsom’s podcast. He claimed that he could “kick most Trump supporters’ a–” and boasted about his physical abilities.

If the wrestling match were to happen, Walz might want to rethink his strategy, especially if Kane decides to bring in his former tag-team partner, The Undertaker. The two wrestlers, known as the Brothers of Destruction in WWE, have a history of teaming up for various causes, including urging voters to check Trump’s name at the ballot box.

In a TikTok video, The Undertaker, whose real name is Mark Callaway, rallied support for Trump, Kane, and himself, contrasting them with Harris, Dave Bautista, and Walz. Bautista, another former wrestler, had previously criticized Trump and expressed his support for Harris and Walz.

The challenge between Kane and Walz has sparked excitement among wrestling fans and political observers alike. It remains to be seen whether the match will actually take place, but one thing is for sure – if it does happen, it will be a spectacle to remember.
